Another day, another celebrity TV show. The latest one to come out of Hollywood is Hollywood Moms’ Club (the TV Guide network are yet to set a launch date).
Hollywood Moms’ Club will be based on the real life mums’ club started by Alison Sweeney (The Biggest Loser US, Days of Our Lives) and Ali Landry (Eve, Felicity).
Landry told The Hollywood Reporter “Alison Sweeney and I started a supper club and invited our favorite celebrity mom friends, including Denise Richards, Brooke Burke, Nancy O’Dell, Holly Robinson Peete, Candace Cameron Bure, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. We get together at each other’s homes once a month for dinner, and they always lead to fun, unexpected moments and candid conversations between great friends.”
Sweeney added, “It’s an opportunity to exchange personal stories about our lives, careers and families. Our conversations are raw and uncensored – no topic is off-limits!”
I know reality TV is cheaper to make than drama or comedy shows but come on Hollywood (and the rest of the world) enough already! Where has all of the creativity gone? I know there are a lot of talented writers, directors, actors, camera operators, etc, who would love to be creating shows that entertain the masses. Someone, please give them a job and let them entertain us!
(Unfortunately at the moment) That’s Entertainment!
