It seems that Academy award winner Javier Bardem is in a villainous mood. He is in talks to voice the villain in Despicable Me 2, and, in very exciting news, Bardem has confirmed that he has signed up to play the newest Bond villain in Bond 23.
Bardem confirmed his involvement in Bond 23 in an interview on American news program Nightline (he was on the show raising awareness about the human rights issues and injustices facing West Saharan refugees). He said about playing the villain, “I am very excited because my parents took me to watch the movies and I saw all of them. So to play that is going to be fun. They chose me to play this man, but I cannot give you many details.”
In other Bond 23 news, according to Fusible.com, Bond 23 may have its title. It looks like it may be called “Skyfall, according to several domain name registrations privately purchased through the brand protection company MarkMonitor this week. MarkMonitor is the same company used by Sony Pictures for thousands of its own domain names, including SonyPictures.com.”
For some time it looked like Bond 23 not going to happen, but now it looks like it may turn out to be one of the hottest Bond movies yet! Bond 23 will be released in the U.K. and Ireland on Oct. 26 2012
