Last year saw the end of the popular MTV show The Hills. At the time, executive producer Adam DiVello wanted to bring the ‘reality’ show to the big screen, however the cast weren’t interested. Now that many of their ‘careers’ have stalled, it looks like they may be changing their minds.
Audrina Partridge, former The Hills ‘star’, told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break… but we’ve all had our break. Maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie.”
No, please don’t! I’d rather more reboots, reimaginings, superhero movies and sequels hitting the big screen than this! If this gets a green light what will be next? Jersey Shore the movie? Teen Mom the movie? Please stop! The overload of reality shows on TV is one thing but please let it stop there – we don’t need this crossing over to the big screen. Instead, why don’t we support the brilliant documentaries being made by talented film makers rather than this stuff!
